I see the deniers as either energy company puppets or people who don't like the climate 'hype' and then get labeled as 'deniers'I think that climate change is impacted by fossile fuels as well as human activity. But those ringing the alarm bell here make it sound like the earth is gonna stop turning pretty soon. like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. Morphine Prince 109,683
The Earth has gone through several periods of warming and cooling throughout its existence. The real concern is about how WE as humans can adapt to the climate changing at a faster pace than regularly partly because of our own impact. The Earth isn't going to end soon and it's a slow process, but the concern is the human race. We will have to change our way of life eventually. Our way of life isn't sustainable. It's a huge bubble waiting to pop someday. Maybe not in our lifetime, but it will pop. Right now the global temperature is increasing but the Earth has been hotter before in other periods of time. I wish I had the graph my Ecology professor showed us which shows where we are right now specifically.

Sorry, but your own small perspective is not representative or akin to how the world actually is.

That's the main point to work on but wow there is so much to do like how can you try to make people more conscious and aware when they have no clue how every action they do everyday has an impact on the planet. But if we all dies because of how stupid we live not taking into account our planet we kinda asked for it... True, but back then animals had thousands of years to go to a different place or to create descendants which evoluted to fit the new climate better. Now it's all happening so fast.. What scares me is that warmer water can hold less CO2, and there's a huge amount of CO2 in Siberia under ice, and if that ice melts the greenhouse effect will be strengthened a lot. It also makes the deserts way bigger. The poorest countries like Ethiopia and Bangladesh are affected the worst.

The media should present global climate change in a way that attracts consumers to choose less damaging options. Doomsday predictions and blaming the U.S. for everything doesn't help and will do less to change policies or consumers choices. like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. Economy 52,861
Some ppl arent rational. They shoot down anything that they associate with global warming without really thinking it thru cause they are so paranoid Like with oil and pipelines. Ppl are so quick to shoot them down but they dont wanna hear thr argument of how the oil is instead transported through other less efficient and therefore more impactful means Environmentalists also have a tendency to give so much attention and attack one issue and ignore another... As a Canadian i dont appreciate that our oil sands get so much bad rep and boycott from environmentalists even tho we have high standards for land reclamation, and were decreasing our impact per barrel with new technologies and with mandatory regulations to reduce inpacts Yet no one talks about Venezuela that has the same type of oil sands oil and on top of that they have lower environmental standards so a barrel of oil produced there is worse. Once environmentalists get a target to pick on they dont stop. They are so inneficient they just make noise thats an inconvinience for everyone. They try to stop keystone XL, yet they are too stupid to notice theres like a million smaller pipelines that havent gotten media attention that collectively add more capacity than keystone alone In any case global warming is an issue im not saying its not. But ppl need to he rational not fanatic/emotional if they wanna approach things in a way that will actually make a difference
craig 680
Our way of life isn't sustainable. It's a huge bubble waiting to pop someday. Maybe not in our lifetime, but it will pop. Probably right, but global warming is just one of many reasons for thinking that, not even the main one. Nuclear War is a bigger threat. Of some new Black Death wiping most of us out. Overpopulation contributes to numerous problems (animal extinction), but if we limit our births we'll likely just be outbreed by third world cultures with outmoded religious creeds. But if we are smart enough to avoid nuclear war etc, finding some way to suck Co2 out of the atmosphere shouldn't be that hard.

Do u have any idea how big the world is????? If u could filter it out of the air then u could filter emmisions for going into the air to begin with Its simpler to lower emmissions and go into renewables
