The song is still good though I agree. But whenever I say that I get attacked because "Madonna is the queen of videos!". Not really to me. Katy Perry makes far more interesting and visually stimulating PVs. The only Madonna videos I love are the lead singles, and this one does not impress me that much. Honestly Madonna could give two ****s. She has had haters since she exploded onto the scene 32 years ago, and here she is all these years later still going strong having the kind of longevity and success on a level that no other star in pop music has ever had. The one and only Queen. (And before someone mentions MJ's name lets not forget that he became a totally irrelevant joke in the early 90s up until the day he passed away. Same goes for someone like Cher also, who had a few hits in the 80s. 1 hit in the late 90s, and hasn't had any hit record since.) Madonna year after year after year keeps on going. SKANK 14,288 Posted February 5, 2015 Share Posted February 5, 2015 I watched the video thinking they could swap out Madonna with Kylie and it would be the exact same song and video. There was nothing quintessentially "Madonna" about the video, then the cringey Nietzsche quote appeared at the end and suddenly it was a Madonna video. I mean the look of Madonna in a pink leotard has become iconic and in that sense the video has become iconic as well, but Sorry was awful (even though Madonna looked hot in it) and don't even get me started on Get Together and Jump which were lazy as hell. Jump is one of my all time fav videos, and overall the CODF videos were good (with the exception of GT). It doesn't have to be too dark or have lots of green screen to make a good video.
