Prometheus 1,494
You are right, of course, all men can have body issues. Oh well they shouldn't because they look good :) I know aesthetically pleasing men on here who hate their bodies/looks.
Didymus 34,379
Well, even if I accepted my body it doesn't mean society will. People will say I am less of a man for not being able to grow substantial facial hair. I'm not saying we should blame society as a whole. Society has influence. Society dictates customs, culture, etc. When people aren't psychologically strong enough to accept themselves we should help. But those same people are also influenced by society's norms, so therefore they are completely not to blame according to the same logic that defends people who don't fit the norm. So then the only thing we can conclude is that society is the cause for all of this but that doesn't get us anywhere. And of course! I'm all for that, I just don't think a video like this helps anyone. But if it does, amazing, of course. I just think there are better ways.

gagzus 14,792
I think that's just a non-message, sorry. It's like you acknowledge the fact that someone doesn't fit the norm (yes you are too skinny or you don't have any muscles and that's quite a shame and you should probably work on looking as amazing as you can) but you just don't say it or you disguise it as "be yourself", whatever that means. that isn't a non-message at all it's quite clear actually, and who honestly cares about being part of "the norm"? There's more to life that having to be aesthetically pleasing to others when you can make yourself happy, and not everyone thinks the same as you since you seem to think they have an "agenda"

There's not one person there who struggles with severe weight issues and that's obviously the group of men who have it the hardest when it comes to insecurity/bullying/... Which is, again, why the whole thing comes across as a laughable attempt to bond men together in some kind of ridiculous elite "it's my body" vibe. In my opinion. In my opinion. it's all down to your own perception, like i didn't think ANY of them were attractive and people don't need to have a problem to show support and be an advocate for a problem, for example we in the first world are advocates for third world problems, straight popstars are gay advocates and white people are also advocates for black people. And ANY form of bullying is severe bc you're humiliating or purposely for no reason destroying someone's mentality slowly so it doesn't matter, what matters is they made this & it's good.
