liz89 373
Some of you are too obsessed with the whole "overshadowing-thing". I mean, who cares?? I don't care if she'll be overshadowed by someone. I'll enjoy her performance and her vocals and don't care about the rest.
Hello Mr. Radio 45
Gaga's performing a low-key Jazz song. It won't be a pop spectacle. They won't be compared.
giskardsb 12,565
You all realize that many non pop fans who watch Grammies think pop productions are overblown to mask lack of talent, and prefer the people who show themselves to be real musicians, right? Florian 19,952
In my opinion, Sia's performance should not be underrated. I think she's planning something quite great

Houdini 103
Wasn't she at the Grammys last year yes but it will be the first time she will be promoting something by herself as a main performer, it's not the same
RBNLM 1,640
Sia will be the most talked about madonna will be deagged katy will be talked about due to the SB hype but gaga with her stripped down performance will be compared with others and people will say it is funny how the crazy gaga is doing something so simple and powerful
FGGrayson 9,670
She doesn't need antics right now and "big performances". She needs to win the GP back with talent. The GP has seen every outfit combination possible and huge loud sets from her, they wouldn't be impressed with that anymore, a raw beautiful performance is exactly what she needs. this tbh 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮 • 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗲 • 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲-𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗼𝗿 • 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻

Much of the public have no idea about Gaga's talent and she will win hearts and minds with this performance. It doesn't matter what the other artists do, Gaga will gain popularity. I live outside the space time continuum.
PopBitch 1,218
Katy is great in concert, but she is always lackluster on award shows.Madonna, the song is a big-sounding song, so could be great, with a choir. I am not a huge fan of the song but see how it could be a great award show song. I'm not crazy about the way she chose to sing it at all, though. SISTERV 3,887
I think Madonna is going to try and do something big but it wont come out great. If Katy does another huge dance number it wont live up to the superbowl hype. Rihanna and Kanye and Paul will get lauded but the song is so forgettable it might come off as dull. Sia will bring a weird enough edge that, although vocally good, will be critically lauded but soon forgotten. Gaga actually has a unique selling point here to be the underdog because she is actually doing something unexpected whereas Madge, Riri, Sia, Katy are kinda doing what is expected of them. Its the opposite Miley effect. Where people were surprised by the contrast of going from good girl to crazy....Gaga will shock by going from "crazy girl to talented girl".....bonus....she wont be called a slut after....she'll get praise. This cant go wrong for Gafa....at worst she will just be lauded critically and the performance will be forgotten....but I doubt that bc the Grammy's have a more mature audience than the VMAs. uo111 5,254
A lot of people haven't seen Gaga in forever and those same people have no idea she has been doing Jazz music. If she sings well (and when has she not) she will get noticed. And leading up to a new album, that's all she really needs.
