Omegahedron 222 Posted February 7, 2015 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Do you think maybe part of the reason the collaboration between Gaga and Azealia never got released is because of how Gaga acted back then? I mean, just watch her FAME perfume interviews. She had this high delusional ego and it was due to the d--gs she was taking back then. Now, it wasn't Gaga's fault she got addicted, and Azealia obviously has a bad attitude, but why do we jump down Azealia's throught when she says something negative about Gaga? We don't know what happened back then, and naturally as Gaga fans, we took her word for it. But because we don't know what happened back then, we shouldn't jump straight to the conclusion that Azealia is just pressed and wants Gaga's fame. Let's look at it like this, we know Azealia is insecure, and maybe because of how Gaga treated her, or how she says 'she just has a bad attitude', Azealia felt offended and victimized. Maybe because Azealia never had fame like Gaga back then and probably never worked with anyone so big, she was upset to find out what Gaga said about her and that her song won't be put in Gaga's record. She probably looked up to Gaga, this big star from the same areas as Azealia, being at the Grammys and all over the media. That's also why I think she looks up to Nicki whenever she's brought up, and why she's such good friends with Lana, they've all walked the same streets and here Gaga is, this big popstar, saying she has a bad attitude and THAT is the reason she isn't on the record. Listen, I'm not trying to pin this down on Gaga because I could be completely wrong but we should try looking at it in a different light, we know Gaga want herself at this time and was on a lot of d--gs, she's admitted that herself, so we should just come at Azealia like she's just pressed because Gaga is better or whatever it is we assume about the situation. Though I agree Azealia is being unecessarily delusional on Twitter. Azaelia was dropped because Gaga was on d--gs?!? You don't know that. That is pure speculation and making stuff up. Let's stick to what we know about Gaga's morals, ethics and activism and how that contrasts with Azaelia's general attitude and outbursts. Honestly I somewhat disagree with this and that has nothing to do with being a Lady Gaga fan but just by observing the situation from where we can. They created a rapport with one another and seemed to be in the works for a collaboration. It seems as though they got in touch with Azealia or her people and so Azealia sent 2 demos. Meanwhile she was up Gagas ass calling her a queen of avant garde and praising her with excitement for the collaboration in retrospect probably trying to solidify her place on the record. Also meanwhile Azealia was beefing with tons of people on twitter and calling Perez a ******* and all the while silence on Gagas end. Eventually leading up to the album release with no Azealia mentioned in presumed tracklists and then of course Gaga finally coming out and saying she had a bad attitude. Honestly, Azealia probably didn't respect that Gaga held that perspective on her and it was kind of ***-ish (imo) for Gaga to think that way but could anyone really blame her? I mean Azealia does have a bad attitude. But to play devils advocate with that information, at the same time Gaga had no problem collaborating with R. Kelly who has a history of s-xual offenses so why then would Azealias bad attitude be a problem? But...you kind of also have to look back at what was happening creatively with Gaga and she mentioned on a chat that she was going for something with trap influence and that Azealia was more into throwback deep house, which was true. In one interview back then Azealia actually said she was avoiding trap. So creatively, they seemed to have a difference anyway. Maybe Azealia wanted a certain vibe that Gaga didn't and they couldn't meet in the middle? We don't know. But either way, Azealia upon finding out she didn't make the record and all that suddenly started coming out and publicly attacking Gaga with every cliche off the shelf Gaga-criticism she could fine ranging from plagiarism to her supposed lack of integrity. But to be honest, the only person thats lacking integrity really is Azealia. I mean to me it was pretty pathetic to watch her grovel at Gagas feet and then throw an obvious tantrum at finding out she was snubbed for the record. Itd be one thing to be upset about it or Gagas words on her, but she just tried to almost treat her like she does Iggy and I was like Gaga doesn't even deserve that within this situation. Gaga doing the mermaid/Venus thing didn't come off as plagiarism to me but considering that Azealia had been working the mermaid schtick I didn't view it as something interesting coming from Gaga because I felt like i'd seen it already and better. But not like Gaga did it because she ripped it out from under Azealia. I mean it was obvious that wasn't the case. The only thing I didn't respect on Gagas end was that it seemed she mostly didn't collaborate with her because it would've been bad PR since Azealia had gained such a bad reputation because why should that matter and because Gaga ended up finding that bad press anyway with R.
