In a new interview, the pop diva says that Pharrell Williams, another coach on The Voice, is helping Aguilera realize her vision. "During my pregnancy, I had a meeting with him and just connected on where I want to take the next album," Aguilera told Extra TV of Williams. "And we started talking music, and he has one song in particular that I love." Christina Aguilera & Rockettes to Open NBA All-Star Game Aguilera did not give a release timeframe for her next full-length, but said of the project, "I just have to make sure it's right, and it's genuine and it's heartfelt, and I'm very excited to pour my heart out into this record fully. I've been gathering and writing and coming up with these amazing ideas for different parts of how I was feeling the past year, so I'm really excited to vocalize all of it and make it all come together." Aguilera, who is opening the NBA All-Star Game with a special performance alongside the Rockettes on Feb. 15, will join Williams as a coach on The Voice for season 8, ending a two-season hiatus when the reality competition returns to NBC on Feb. 23. Same goes for Gwen. She did a couple of performances on The Voice though and that was back in 2012 when it was still a beast. Not that it matters since the fans are getting new music but I hate canvases always picking on her because she is so amazing! To me this time it's important that she deliver a good album in quality, with Lotus she worked with Max Martin and co and it wasn't her thing, I hope this time even if she will flop that the music will be great, a lot better than Lotus. She did a couple of performances on The Voice though and that was back in 2012 when it was still a beast. Nowadays not so much Yes I know but she performed songs that weren't singles at the last minute before the album, it was very bad in general how they manage it, obviously she needs to do promo also in other shows, and more things in general.. The music is not even good in the albums that floped .. and its important to not flop because that way her fans can enjoy performances, tours and more singles and music videos.
