And Do It Like A Dude singer Jessie J, 27, admits that her strong female attitude was scaring off potential suitors. That was until she met 30-year-old Luke James - who she's been besotted with since late 2014 - because she says he 'celebrates [her] as a woman.' She told the Daily Star newspaper on Tuesday: 'I want to make this work and I will. You always work hard for the things you want and it is the same thing with Luke. 'Luke is someone who celebrates me as a woman. There are some guys who can't handle me because a strong woman can sometimes be scary.' The fiercely independent singer has, admittedly, not always been looking for men when it comes to relationships. Previously the brunette declared herself bis-xual but later retracted the claim by saying it was a 'phase' and admitted she was looking for a husband. In 2013, she cleared up the speculation for fans on Twitter when she announced: 'I fancy/love/date men and only men. Is that 'straight to the point' enough?' Speaking to Glamour magazine at the end of last year, Jessie confessed that she was still trying to work out whether she was 'in love' but said her relationship with Luke could be her happy ever after. After four years in the industry, Jessie seems like she's done a lot of growing up, though on outside she appeared to have reverted to one of her very first iconic images at the start of 2015.
