Well if you listen to the Lead Vocal in Hair, you can hear the beat playing very quietly in the background. This just means the music in her headphones were being played pretty loud. I'm in this recording class at school and I have had the music play too loud sometimes and the vocal mics pick it up. It's amazing how much mics pick up. Even the slightest page turn.
