What's that? :duck:

Yeah the Mario Maker looked fun but I'm better at playing through levels than creating :rip: Splatoon I'm on the fence about, the reviews haven't got me wanting it that much

I was the same! but got it anyways, and now that the August patch has arrived and that they have uploaded a bunch of new modes and content, I would consider getting it now If I where you. after you play it I feel it becomes more fun, and I felt it was going to be extremely cheesy.

The hardest part was cutting her original pink dress out. At the time I only had a kitchen knife and scissors to cut it out. The plastic was a lot tougher then I expected. The actual creation of the shreds of 'meat' for the dress was fairly simple.

I also made a simple Robin amiibo edit but I don't have a good quality photo. I just gave him a s-x change and now the Robin is the female version.

I've never played Animal Crossing :omg: It looks cute but what type of game is Animal Crossing overall, like the series? Because I'm usually into more intense games - based on the trailer of that game

This one is just a spinoff. Main series Animal Crossing has you moving to a new town and living your life. The last game had you be the mayor and you could fund now stores in town and projects like fountains in bridges. You can shop and help expand the store, decorate your home, pay off your home debt and expand it, play with neighbors, fish, and celebrate real world holidays like Christmas and Halloween where they give special home decorations. They also have things like fishing and bug catching tournaments

Is it weird that reading your post made me feel so warm and fuzzy, like it sounds like such a light and nice escape from reality because you're living a second and better life

So I got Splatoon about 2 weeks or so ago.

I wasn't completely sure, being on the fence since the game was first shown at E3 but I decided to get the game because Mario Kart and Smash can't be the only games I consistently play on the Wii U. The gyro controls felt awkward, which a lot of reviewers had pointed out, but switching them off somehow felt worse. In addition to that, the weapon options are the beginning were so limited, I felt that I couldn't play the game how i wanted to. The matchmaking also matches players of all different levels, so I was level 1 being matched with level 30's (level 30 takes a very long time to reach, 50 is the cap and only a handful of people have reached it). That was frustrating because the game allows enemies to come right next to your spawn point (this doesn't happen very often in more even matches, of course) I leveled up to level 6 and then I didn't play it for about a week because I felt frustrated.

I played it again because I saw that other people seemed to love the game so much, and I bought it so I might as well play it. And thank goodness I did. The available maps at the time were much more to my liking, and I leveled up to level 8 and unlocked the option to purchase some weapons which I enjoy a LOT. And the gyro controls feel second nature to me now, better than using the a--log stick. The creator of the game describes the motion controls perfectly (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/vast-majority-of-splatoon-players-use-motion-contr/1100-6429165/?ftag=YHRe6a6b70). Honestly, if you have a Wii U and have even an inkling (ha) of interest in shooter type games, Splatoon is a must-have. A lot of the reviewers focused a lot of their negative attention on the motion controls, which can only really indicate that they didn't give it a chance.
