There are moments where I wish a giant asteroid would hit the earth and put an end to the lamentable mess that is humanity. Here is another, I'm sure it isn't meant literally. Believe me, these extremists have deviated from the true teachings of the religion and it is therefore wrong to associate them with Islam. you realize Jihad is a core tenet of Islam right? There's no deviation from its teachings... Jihad is considered holy... The same thing applies to how women are treated, gays, apostasy... I'm not Muslim And I don't think I need to remind you there are actual Muslim victims, especially those killed by ISIS and the subject of this very thread. And if lego, Willy, or myself made some sort of hyperbolic statement like that, we'd be dragged to the ends of the earth. So I'm not sure why you're writing this off as harmless (unless you're not, in which case I'm sorry I saw it that way). That kind of sentiment comes from somewhere. But no, we live in a vacuum where rhetoric has no influence on society and the guy who punches a Sikh driver because of his looks does so for the hell of it...i guess?
