One reason that my best friend here in France is an immigrant from Syria and she and her husband are a wonderful people, and they are not extremists, not criminals or whatever, only 2 regular people in the world. and it's funny because I'm Israeli and we both have the dream to visit each other country.. BUT. There is indeed a high rate of crimes that caused by immigrants, and you can't say no just to be a politically correct, there is! And the main reason is that the governments put them in many ****ty places, ****ty jobs and bad life in general. Also, no one gives them the key and the education of how to live in the new culture and society of their new country, so it makes them more clueless, stress and angry of their mess in their lives.. But in any case this movement in Germany is stupid and racist, and I hope really hope that Jews are not involved in that movement because if they do, and now I'm talking as a Jewish, I would be ashamed of them, it would disgust me!! Hitler was picking on people who'd lived in Germany for centuries, and wanted to take Slavic lands so that Germans could have more living space. He was an aggressor. Very different from a xenophobia that is essentially defensive, and just wants to preserve the traditional ethnic and cultural make-up of one's country, or (more moderately) make sure things don't change too fast.
