A New opinion poll suggests that one German in eight would join an anti-Muslim march if a rapidly-growing protest movement organized one in their home towns.

According to Reuters, the survey highlighted growing support in Germany, as in other European Union countries including Britain and Sweden, for parties and movements tapping into voter fears that mainstream politicians are too soft on immigration.

The latest poll of 1,006 people by Forsa for Germany's Stern magazine found 13 percent would attend an anti-Muslim march nearby. It also found 29 percent of people believed that Islam was having such an influence on life in Germany that the marches were justified.

Last month an estimated 15,000 people joined Pegida, or Patriotic Europeans Against Islamisation of the West, in a march through Dresden carrying banners bearing slogans such as "Zero tolerance towards criminal asylum seekersâ€, "Protect our homeland†and "Stop the Islamisationâ€.

What a mess happening in my country or in Europe in general :wtf:

What a shame for my country. A true shame. Peaceful Islam is part of our country. thank god there are demanstrations against those anti-muslim demonstrations which are even bigger.

Apperantly this Pegida wants to save the judeo-christian society in Germany.

That's so besides the point. Extremists exist in every ideology, generalizing leads to more violence :madge:

Mess :smh:

This almost exactly the same as the issue with immigrants from Latin America to the US. Instead of simply focusing on illegal immigration and fixing the system, they ramble on trying to create racist laws and blame ALL immigrants for diseases, poor economic standards, crime, etc. Basically everything is the immigrant's fault :rip:

Basically they are afraid that Islam will intervene in our jewish/christian culture, but the truth is that Islam is already part of us. If they like or not

there's a difference between ISIS and Islam

Oh god

Germany realise that ISIS is twisting Islam

It's not even that ISIS the main factor.

It's mainly because of the huge number of immigrants from countries like Syria, which totally bull**** because islam =/= extremist or dangerous

there are afraid that germany looses it's jewish/christian culture
