She refused to sign the ticket and tried to talk the police out of it. But the police was being lenient on her by not citing her for the expired driver license. Then the woman evade the police with her 3 kids in the car, then the 16 years old son assaulted the police officer. The entire family was arrested, but I think the mother and son will be going to jail. (Which is most likely also against the law) On the other hand the police men clearly overreact. Both are somehow wrong and I won't take any side. Look like he was shooting at the tires to disable the car, the window was tinted dark so you don't know the son has a gun inside the car so he have to smash the window. What you consider "overreact" is a way to save a police officer life because they have to always expect the worst outcome. He ordered her many time to get out of her car because she committed a felony of evading police so now he can arrest her. He grabbed her because he was arresting her for felony evading police (by taking off when he was trying to give her a ticket). I feel like they wanna exert their power and bully people most of the time tbh. There was this one time late last year in a gas station. So the cop pulled him over (well... he was already at the gas station stopped but anyway) and as the driver went back in his car to get his licence the policeman shot the driver. That video of the police shooting that guy is just LOL. Look like a comedy skit you see on Saturday Night Live. Maybe that cop saw too much YouTube videos of policemen getting killed during traffic stop so he overreacted. They guy should tell the police officer,"My license is in my car so I go get it now" because most people think you carry your license in your wallet in your pant's pocket. The police thought the guy reach inside his truck to get a gun like other police shooting videos. At least the guy will be rich when he sue the city for millions of $. But if she had one less kid, she would save over $5K per year, that's enough money saved to easily pay that ticket then there won't be any argument, evading the police, car chase and arrest.
