I hate this 'it's my right to carry a gun' you so often hear. Who the hell has the right to kill someone?  :grr:

Sandyhook didn't and that took the lives of many young children. :( I certainly think the right to bear arms is necessary, but they should start limiting it a little bit more.

I'm pretty sure the murderer in that incident got all his weapons illegally so

hop on that **** like a maniac

We don't need to know the reasons why she carried a gun. The only bad is that she left the gun reachable to the kid. It's sad tho, poor kid

He's going to grow up having to bear the fact that he (accidentally) killed his mother  :messga:

You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you.

Do people not hear similar stories and think, "hey, maybe I shouldn't leave my gun where my children can reach it"????

WHY WOULD SHE CARRY THE GUN TO WALMART WTF IS WRONG WITH HUMANITY

You're obviously not from the U.S. You'd be surprised by the idiots here. They literally treat guns like a family member, pet or an extension of themselves here. It's so stupid. And I'd be willing to bet that the gun wasn't legally registered or possessed by her and was probably bought off the streets.

To be fair, I hear that that it's a right for the citizens to bare arms cause it's a land of freedom.

In my eyes, carrying a gun does nothing towards the freedom but it's FEAR motivated, fear is no freedom!

Freedom is being able to shop without being scared some freak might pull up with a few semi automatic weapons to blast people in the stores down.

Freedom is being able to send your child to school without having to go through security gates, guarded people around the schools (with more guns!) or school shootings.

Freedom is knowing that my fellow men where ever I go have no arms and I know I will not be harmed not even by accident.

That is what I call freedom. People in the US, you have created yourself a FALSE sense of freedom in fact that freedom is taking more lifes then what it's worth.

No, I'm not from the U.S. I always hear about people carrying guns, but to the point of taking the gun to walmart? That's unbelieveble.

Kindness rules all.

Guns can only bring death, I don't understand how they are allowed  The only justifiable use of a gun is in self defense, but you wouldn't need such a disproportionately large method of self defense if the guns weren't available in the first place.

You Can only get a Gun if you have a good reason For Self Defense ï¸and Yöu need a license.

Nope. You just need to pass the multiple-choice knowledge test.

There are six categories of gun license:

A - Firearm collection

B - Sport shooting

C - Hunting

D - Exercise of a profession

E - Self-defense

F - Pyrotechnical survey

An applicant applies for a gun license at the police. Obtaining the license requires passing a theoretical and practical exam. If the conditions of age, qualification, health clearance, criminal integrity and personal reliability are met and a fee of 500 CZK per category is paid, the license shall be issued in 30 days.

"Among popular guns is the Vz. 58. The semi automatic version can be obtained easily with any type of gun license."

This is so true. But if you look at US history you can see this government has always used "fear" and "security" to further its goals. "Red Scares" from various times in the 20th century and after 9/11 there's this notion of "war on terror" and now the NSA seems to be abusing its powers.

Plus, these morons here have created the idea that carrying guns is an absolute freedom and feel so privileged to own them. I've never felt a need to "protect myself" but I understand if people in rural areas feel the need to.
