"The Tale of the Princess Kaguya" appreciation thread

If you have seen this gorgeous Japanese animated movie, you know what I'm talking about. 

 

made by Studio Ghibli and directed by Isao Takahata (director of another Ghibli-classic "Grave of the Fireflies") with beautiful score by Joe Hisaishi (composer behind every single Hayao Miyazaki's work), this masterpiece premiered in Japan in 2013 and in North America in December 2014. 

 

I saw it two weeks ago, and I'm still hugely impressed by the film's amazing animation, elegant music and intricate plot. 

 

let's all hail this absolute pinnacle of Japanese animation!
