theMonster5 74 Posted December 29, 2014 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Starting 2015, California egg farmers are require to give hens 70 percent more space to move, so that mean the farmers can stuff less hens into each cage and barn, thus they will produce less eggs per barn or have to incure more cost for bigger cages and barns. Then the hens will freely move around then after two short years they will go to the slaughter house to become Foster Farms chickens or your local KFC chickens. So don't get too excited about it!
