I know the song was huge, but damn, beating the Wrecking Ball controversy? Roar went to sell over 10M WB didn't sold even half of that. Roar was more popular and had better longevity. Congrats Katy! I think the song has a lot to do with it, streaming got bigger and since Roar was very popular I guess people go to see more the video, even if it's only to play the song. I do that sometimes.
