giskardsb 12,565
Apparently people on this forum make decisions they never change for the rest of their lives. The whole betrayals thing is idiotic.

Bear 7,515
I don't care how we arrived to this point, or how many times minds were changed, I am just grateful we have Cheek to Cheek
artRaver 3,188
She changed her mind, simple as that. She said in a recent interview back in October of this year that "I've been dreaming of making a jazz album, I just thought I would do it later in my career." Plus with all that happened during ARTPOP era that caused her to fall into a depression shouldn't we be happy that she had someone as genuine as Tony to be there and mentor her since she did mention she wanted to quit music, etc. ✿ cherry blossom girl ✿

Anderson123 38,416
It was not part of her plan. But yes, you should never say never because you don't know what opportunities in life you'll get. Gaga met Tony when she was probably sad and they both decided to work on the album because Gaga had talent for it. Whether she met Tony or not before that interview, the thing is, she didn't think Tony would want to record a full album with her, so I guess she changed her mind and thought it was a good idea. wahkeenasitka 1,995
Wow! That was a really interesting interview - I'd never seen it before! I think what I got most out of it was how she uses garageband and how she sleeps in strange positions while she travels.. fascinating... In terms of what she said about the possibility of recording a jazz album... a lot has changed for her in the last 3 years since she released BTW. She has changed enormously as a human being and artist... Her wardrobe & costume changes are just an external / physical expression of the transformation journey she is always undergoing... I don't think it's a betrayal at all.. I just think that she changed her mind. She has evolved. This was not a damn promise, and you are not injured by the release of C2C. Get. Over. It. ByeBye49 161
Not a betrayal, just a thought. Whatever made her change her mind, it's 100% okay with me because Cheek To Cheek slays.
