ARTPOP not getting anything must have hit hard, but the recovery album getting something provides a ray of hope. She's going to have so much competition from Barbra, who's a big Grammy favourite, plus her album sold better, but at the same time, the committee loved Tony's duets album, so you never know. If it won, wow, it would mean so much. Her first Grammy win since her TFM days. She may still get nominations, but I really hope her days of actually winning Grammys aren't over. I'm sure her new team will help get her back to where she needs to be, though and she might get at the very least several nominations for the next album. And now they got one, I couldn't be happier. They rightfully deserve it. Win or lose, Gaga has already made history for being nominated in all the top album categories of Dance, Pop, and Traditional Pop. She has already won two of those. But if she wins this one too, she'd be the first in history to win all three. So even though I'm disappointed with ARTPOP being snubbed most likely due to how it sold, and not because of how it is as a pop album, there's still something great to look forward to for Gaga next year. Do sales play into it or do they base it on quality of music??? One already bought it twice. I haven't heard anything about his album... and it's a Christmas album, which is inherently kind of lame. (Looks it up...) It seems it peaked at #53.
