Confident, yes, but she does not brag on herself saying I'm the best songwriter or my album is the best this. Saying you wouldn't be doing this if you weren't writing your songs is who she has been since her teens. She sings her feelings and experiences. She talks about her process and what went down in making it and where she had to stand up for her vision or desire to do things a certain way and reasons behind songs in the making of 1989.. Other than that, the praise for her abilities or music comes from elsewhere. She makes her music and releases it and then lets it go for people to love or not, not telling us how brilliant it is.
