I'm the opposite. I love Rebel Heart. You can tell she put a lot of heart into it. My only complaint is its typical Avicci. Nothing new. I love her parts tho. I don't like Wash Over are at all. I hope th finished version is better because I do think it's different and does have potential.

Yes, I do agree that you can tell she's put more heart into them.. a rebel heart, lol

 

However I CAN'T get into "Rebel Heart"... I just can't. I heard it is not the first single (hoping and praying it isn't because honestly, I don't think it is strong enough)

 

"Wash All Over Me' is a whole other story, I am very impressed with it, and the "fairy tale" feel works better here where it doesn't on Rebel Heart, haha.

 

It definitely brings me back to the 'Music' era, with some inklings of "Like a Prayer", ROL and AL. I honestly hope they don't process her voice or do much more with it because I like the laid back nature she sings on it, something she hasn't done in a while on MDNA and HC albums - and though I actually like a lot of tracks on those albums, her vocals were very strained in parts, pitched and processed. Immediately I can tell a difference here.

I don't hate MDNA but I think it's boring. Sounds like a mishmash of B-Sides. I never really cared to listen to it again after the first listen. So yeah I think this is way better than MDNA. :) Come on, Give Me All Your Luvvin was horrible.

We may not have listened to the same records :awkney: MDNA is not half as bad as people make it out to be.

Of course, you're picking one of the worst songs :sweat: All the singles of the MDNA era were awful choices.

But please, give a second chance to Gang Bang, I'm Addicted, I'm a Sinner and Love Spent ;)

Oh, it's so nice to hear Madonna sound like Madonna again.  Rebel Heart sounds like Madonna instead of those horrible processed vocals on most of MDNA.  

 

Madonna is still a narcissist, but I like the song.  I would like the lyrics if I didn't feel like she went back to doing everything to be young again and attention and losing her credibility.  But I am now looking forward to the album.  They need to dial back on some of the production on part of Rebel Heart, a little overdone.

 

I love both songs because the old tone of Madonna's vocals are back and I've missed that Madonna.

 

I love Wash All Over Me.  It's amazing.

Some girls is one of my faves, the willima orbit remix rocks :music: . The song that I couldn't like is best friend.

 

 

 

Rebel Heart just sounds like a remake of Avicii's superior song "The Days." How reductive...  :reductive:

It's not reductive if she has Avicii himself working on it :usrs:

They sound very generic… I kinda like the verses of Rebel Heart but I think Wash All Over You is boring… Anyway, I still wanna hear Autotune Baby.

After listening to them several times,   dayum, I'm a Madonna fan again.  I can't believe it.   She lost me the last two years.  There's great melody and heart back in her music.
