degenerate 526
Because she literally has said multiple times that she wanted to quit the music industry if it wasn't for this one thing or this one person or if she hadn't discovered this. What if she didn't have that one person? Or didn't discover blank? I mean if you make statements like that showing yourself as becoming weak and fragile when things get tough, people are bound to worry.
Bloody 64,631
Even though I don't really care about chart positions that much, I have to admit that there's a lot of enjoyable stuff that are indirectly associated with chart positions. First and the most obvious is probably more expensive performances, videos, etc, but I also want her to be more popular so that I could talk about Gaga and her songs with people that are regular pop fans, cuz that's something I really enjoyed during her TFM era when she is talked about everywhere If you think about it gaga was always successfull, even with her "flop" era applause became a ww hit selling 4+m.copies and charted almost everywhere and dwuw has sold 2+m. copies without a video

Bloody 64,631
And then she went MIA in the middle of an album cycle. And then she released G.U.Y..... the fact that G.U.Y. flopped in charts doesn't make it a bad song.Personally it's my 2nd fave on ARTPOP Plus.it has an iconic video which she made it with her money

I'm not saying it's a bad thing - we love our genuine, down-to-earth, real, honest Gaga. But like the topic asks: it can become worrisome for her career. Speechless18 2
That's like if you're a kid and your mom is struggling to pay the bills, r u gonna worry? Good point. What it comes down to for me is the complete trust I have in Gaga. She knows what she's doing - her instinct and talent got her where she is now. Her talent and instinct gave us 4 amazing solo albums and I don't doubt we'll get an amazing 5th.
Ronk 14,762
I only worry about her happiness. I hope she takes the path that makes her the happiest. I live outside the space time continuum.
drinkmytears 2,332
Look at Marina, Lana, Azealia, FKA Twigs, Iggy before Fancy, Madonna since 2008... there's lots of artists that aren't selling millions and still are getting money from labels for videos and tours. She doesn't need to sellout Madison Square Garden to have an amazing tour. I actually would rather see her in a venue for 2,000 people with the stage filled with cool props and visuals but the show mainly focusing on Gaga
giskardsb 12,565
She will have a career as long as she wants. Gagas career is not defined simply by her being the top pop girl. Her fans seem to have more need for her to be the hbic than she actually does. A career is not defined by how much you can spend on videos. Gagas career will be spent as a multifaceted entertainer. By the end she will be much more Liza and Babs and Cher than Madonna or Britney.
