I absolutely LOVE it.

Gaga is happy, Tony is helping her, the vocals are on point + the looks and interviews. Not to mention the covers. :legend:

I'm not into that kinda jazz. I only like Anything Goes and It don't mean a thing

It's quite a boring era but it's better than a blackout

This tbh.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

I LOVE it. Great to hear her with "naked" vocals and singing sweet songs.

Finally a Gaga album i can play when my folks are around without them whinging!

And Gaga looks SO happy when she's performing it too.

All good for me.

I've never been a huge fan of jazz to be honest. It's just not my thing. But I think that some of the songs showcase her voice really well so that's nice.

I like some of the songs from C2C but I don't love it and overall I could live without this album

and I am not interested in the performances, fashion, interviews or videos from this era, I was so over this after a week, not like I was exited for it to begin with

I like the music but I don't LOVE it.

a) I, too, would be more interested in original material.

b) Honestly, though her vocals are lovely, she sounds so distinctly GAGA, even when singing something so different like jazz, that I find it really distracting. I don't feel like I'm hearing jazz. I feel like I'm hearing GAGA singing jazz, if that makes sense.

Jazz lends to her tendencies to sing theatrically, with varying vibrato, and drawn out long steady notes, her head voice (when she sings high notes delicately), and even her occasional growl sounds.

I don't always care for that style. I refer back to, say, Captivated, where she displayed all of those things, yet it was much more light and natural. It didn't sound as throaty and theatrical as she tends to do more in recent years.

I'm not being negative, truly. I love her voice. I just wish sometimes she would apply "less is more" to her vocals. :(

Overall, I think it is good for her. Most people I know never heard a thing about C2C until I told them, however, within certain demographics, I'm sure it has made an impact on GP support. The promo has been delightful. Really, Tony is such a legend, that this WILL be remembered as an important "era" in her career.

It has been much better received than ARTPOP could dream of.

I'm here for anything, overall. I support her. Anything that makes her happy and proud, or gives her credibility and success is ok with me. I just wish ALL that would happen simultaneously with an original pop album.

Huh it took 64 and ARTPOP 61 .That's not a big difference

No because she isn't doing anything new with jazz. I know she doesn't want to make a statement with jazz, but otherwise she's just a very good vocalist and nothing else.

And whilst I like hearing her covers, I hate the idea that she has officially put out an album of covers and heavily collaborated with another artist at the same time... it is the antithesis of BTW to 'stand on your own two feet' and I think it dilutes her artistry. Why does everything have to be commercialised... can she not just upload Anything Goes ft. Tony etc to her YouTube as a side hobby...

CTC should've had 1 Tony feature, zero covers, and proper music videos (or better yet not exist at all... The Lady is a Tramp would've made a great first and last official Jazz record).

No sorry :|

This. Her fanbase is relatively young I don't get why she did this. I think I would've enjoyed it wayyyy more if she wrote her songs for the album. She is such a TALENTED writer.

Yeah, I do like it. Her vocals are the best and she seems happy. I love her ''Gagaish'' outfits and performances more tho.

I'm actually really enjoying it! She looks happy, she looks healthy and she loves it. + On top of that it's commercially doing pretty damn fine for a project like this.
