There are many interesting styles of  jazz  -modal, fusion , free improv etc.

Gaga chose the well worn track of regurgitating jazz standards - boring elevator music

I just don't enjoy jazz. It's good music yes, but not what I want to listen to on a daily basis.

This is exactly how I feel.

Honestly, I bought Cheek to Cheek the week it was released to support Gaga, my favorite artist, and help it go number one on the charts. Since purchasing it, I have only listened to the album in its entirety once. I absolutely loved when she sang jazz before Cheek to Cheek and although her voice on the album overall is spectacular, I feel most of the tracks weren't really suited for her. I feel some of the songs were far more suited for Tony. There are tracks such as Anything Goes, Nature Boy, and I Can't Give You Anything But Love that are fantastic and suit both their voices, but apart from those and Gaga's solo tracks, I find the album to be a little boring. Like I said, her vocals on the album are fantastic; probably her best yet. Overall, though this has been my least favorite era of her's.

I don't just like it, I love it!

Besides it being a great, successful colab, it's been healin. for Gaga, which is always good. I also noticed a change in her singing style, she displays even more technique and control than before.

It also shows a different side of her to the GP, reminding them she's not a prefab pop product, but a true artist.

I never fear her leaving her past behind, she is a woman with many loves and a rockchick at heart.

I expect this era to reinvigorate her love for music and I feel her best work will follow this project.

:applause:  Wow.  Exactly this.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Not really, I can't seem to get into the C2C era bc it's just not the type of music I can enjoy, although I really loved her rendition of Bang Bang. And it's really great to see artists explore a variety of genres. I'm totally here for her doing what she enjoys and being happy

i am glad she went out and did something different, her vocals on the album, and looks and everything throughout the era have been flawless, and I am really proud of how far she has came, and how well she is doing, and how happy she is with this album.

However, from a personal standpoint, i don't really like jazz music, I think its nice for around the holidays, but overall, this era hasn't really thrilled me yet, and I'm a little bored with it. Thats just my opinion and is in no way hate. I love gaga so much, and am really proud, I'm just kinda sitting out of all the cheek to cheek excitement and performances and stuff cause It doesn't really interest me, and I think thats okay. Just because you are a gaga stan doesn't mean you automatically love everything she touches right?
