Just because Whitney Houston/Mariah didnt dance and put on big pop spectacles dosent mean there still not one of the most talented/respected/influential pop stars of their time I never said she wasn't talented. I would say no mainly because her songwriting in ARTPOP was not impressing me for most of the album and her dancing has gotten progressively worse since early BTW era (pre hip injury, which imo was caused by horrible choreography ) Also her voice has gotten stronger, but her enunciation has really suffered and to me that is part of being talented. The way she treats her work is a bit lackluster. She makes it sound like she was intensely over-worked, but most other pop stars do the same schedule- promo, performances, shoots, videos, etc- If she felt that way she should just make her tours shorter or more manageable like with the aR. She has amazing potential, but she has to let people and professionals help her hone her craft and that is the opposite of the way she's been acting. Your looking at things very bias and probably only listen exclusively to gaga. Your clearly a deluded stan that probably dosent have any musical knowledge beyond your fave.
