It was announced that the C2C Live will be released in DVD. The show was held at Lincoln Theatre, NYC and was the first time that Gaga and Tony presented the songs included in the album.

ATTENTION: The dates are for the USA release.

 

UPDATE: It's the first ever concert released in 4K quality. Ultra HD will be also available.

Is it normal to release things that close to Christmas? I suppose they're aiming for last minute 'oh I forget to get a present for x' sales?

Yes, but that's not relevant if you can't deliver the media somehow. Currently the only available 4K material is streamed from Netflix or YouTube, with Amazon coming soon.
