Officials say the suspect is an Edinboro student. The victim is a 22-year-old former student, an autopsy on the victim is underway. Official say both the suspect and the victim are from Pittsburgh and knew each other. The motive is believed to be d--g related. UPDATE: Lockdown ends :: Police lift lockdown. Safe to return to your local residence. So.. This happened not long ago and hasn't really been picked up by major news spots yet.. Since I lived it I will post it. So, today, I was in the library around 6-11pm(stuck there til now in Lock down). We are still in lock down, I just had a police escort to my room and have to stay in my room with door locked still. Basically between 6-7 there was a shooting where someone is confirmed killed, so far. The shooter is still at large, and the shooting was within 1 block of campus. The spot is known for partying. I know as I live here... And, basically shortly after we go placed in lock down. There was so much panic and I was scared too.. I still am as the shooter has not been caught and can shoot more people. I wanted to share this as it is a personal expereince that is serious. As, school shootings or related school shootings is serious. Edinboro is a small town and generally college students live within 1 block of the school or on campus. I don't have many details yet but will update. So far there is 1 confirmed killing here.. But did not say they caught the person. :( They said "Lockdown ends :: Police lift lockdown. Safe to return to your local residence." I don't feel safe if the shooter is still not caught... Gosh, here in Europe its not a common thing. Because not everyone can hold a gun... Wtf is wrong with you America?
