NewYorkCity 10,515
Now that's what you feel when someone dishes you in a song, Lana.
Haus 152
Yeah. Replace white with black. Is it racism? Yeah, then it's in this case too. No need for double standards Please. White men are the gold standard when it comes to being "on top". As a race we've never been repressed.
Yanko 9,860
They are just dumb... Eminem said he wasn't serious and he liked Lady Gaga... Probably the same for Lana.. he doesnt like gaga

Paper Gangsta 6,693
Love how Lana fans bash Eminem and say he doesn't have talent. And their fave who they consider the most talented thing to happen admited how he is talented and that he had influence on her
Cody Draco 2,531
on one hand i hate lyrics that are violent towards women and on the other hand i don't like lana del rey like i seriously dislike her sooooo writing lyrics about violence against women?he deserves to be on jail tbh But if a woman writes lyrics about violence against men it's okay? You would put a man in jail for expressing himself through art, but not a woman? Lana has a song Kinda Outta Luck, but I don't see you guys having a problem with that. Art isn't always Katy Perry/Ariana Grande fluff. If you are a fan of Lady Gaga you should know that art can be dark and twisted. Listen to something other than the current Billboard top 10. llbcherry 591
Not offensive. It's not a diss. He uses people who are relevant in his songs to cause controversy intentionally. It's his schtick. I think he is phenomenal, and I like Lana as well.

And their fave who they consider the most talented thing to happen admited how he is talented and that he had influence on her I'm a fan of both of them and Azealia because they are all extremely talented. I don't feel the need to be childish just because some of my faves apparently aren't getting along. I'm also still a fan of Gaga despite her and Azealia's beef. People on this site need to realize that life isn't a fairytale and people are going to dislike eachother and have issues. Eminem probably doesn't even have an issue with Lana, he is just using her name and image to create his art.

MonsterOfSpain 8,279
I don't think Eminem hates Lana but I'm getting tired of him name-dropping artists and bashing them just for controversy and promo.

FFXSoul91 1,092
Yeah. Replace white with black. Is it racism? Yeah, then it's in this case too. No need for double standards I'd actually argue that the term "white trash" is racist because it implies that other races already are trash and that the people that are being called "white trash" are those who are on the same level as them. Of course, most people don't use it for that purpose, but the implication is still there.

I really don't think it's the violence against women that makes this controversial. If so, there are plenty of other, much more troubling lyrics that would be brought to the table. It's because he specifically mentioned Lana. It's not like Kinda Outta Luck says "Is it wrong, wrong that I think it's kinda fun when I hit Eminem in the back of the head with a gun?" Haha. Either way, I don't think it's anything anyone should be worried about. Eminem's been doing this for forever, and that doesn't necessarily mean I think it's cool, but it's not as if he's going to go and physically punch her.
