I don't think that changes anything about trying to fight with him or implying that's his stance. Can I get an amen? i don't think people should ever say "you still think the palestinians are innocent?" in response to a story about a palestinian murdering someone. i don't think people should ever be allowed to get away with such sweeping generalisations unchallenged. it's a matter of principle. You should have said that then. I agree that we should be cautious of "sweeping generalizations" on this topic, including "so you think all palestinians should be shot?"...
