Now that I see ARTPOP's numbers tbh it's not that bad, it's jsut bad for Gaga's usual standards. Other than that its sales are quite good given the state of album sales (not counting freak albums like 1989).

Agreed. It still would've been nice to have ARTPOP go platinum at some point. Unless her next release, for some reason, spurs sales of ARTPOP I don't see it happen. It would've been nice to have the album hit platinum within a year.

 

At least it went gold though? Christina and Kesha and Britney haven't done that with their most recent albums? Though Kesha's 'Warrior' is a masterpiece and it underselling is a travesty. :madge:

Beyonce, Katy, Miley and Taylor all did too though, and much faster. And with only one album At least Britney didn't

 

What does it matter 1 album or 2?

We get more music with 2. No more reason to be jealous of Rihanna's Navy.

Gaga's 2 albums will handily beat Miley.
