A person who rapes should be raped and a person who kills (intentional) should be killed because jail is not a hard punishment. Let's say a guy beats you because you're gay then he goes to jail for a few years and when he's out he finds you and beats you again (maybe kill you) and go back to jail and again after a few years he gets out and live his life when you're long time dead. I can imagine the father did this because he thought a couple years in jail would never bring justice to his daughter. If you follow that principle, then the rapist should deserved to be a--lly raped by a dildo and get some prison time. They resort to the bible for everything and they cross referance scriptures to understand them in as much detail as possible I forgot what the explanation was... But they explained that the lake of fire was symbolic for eternal death and inactivity. Basically non existance. Not literally tourture. A lot of stuff in the bible is symbolic Now im not saying the bible is or isnt true thats besides the point. My point is that people being tourtured forever for not believing in Jesus is just 1 interpretation and based on the explanation i got... JW also don't celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day, and ALL holidays, and NOT even your birthday! lol Revelation 20:10 And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. The entire New Testament is about believing in Jesus Christ to be save from eternal Hell which include burning in the Lake of Fire. Roman 10:9 Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. You will be saved from what? Save from Eternal Hell which including burning in the Lake of Fire. The famous John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
