RAMROD 109,194
Well, people like that always there on every concerts. I don't like it either. Really dull tbh.
Whispering 18,865
Well, that's too bad. At my concert in the US, the whole lower bowl stood, danced and sang at the top of their lungs from start to finish. The only time my section sat was for BTW at the piano and people were still into it- cheering and singing along. Like me, they just took it as a break to sit for a few minutes. :) I have friends and family who had seated tickets in other cities and they reported the same type of atmosphere. Must be the UK audiences.
TMC 64
I was there last night and I agree, i was LMZ but whenever i looked to the seats and saw people sitting, or not swaying or whatever it annoyed me. but we have to consider that those people arent die hard fans that know every song on every album. ARTPOP as an opening is very strong but it isnt a very well known Gaga song by the public and your casual fan might not know it. Good point. I think ARTPOP as an opener wasn't ideal but then DITD? HU? These were album tracks that made the crowd go insane. I do think it was just a different type of audience in the UK this time. It didn't affect our experience at all... But sad to see them not raving. Maybe they were there for old hits (which gaga said she wasn't there for) 😳 Must be the UK audiences. Then I'm a little embarassed
MANiCURE 60
We're getting old.... :p No seriously I don't remember seeing a lot of people seated at Glasgow . If they weren't they probably had vertigo issues and I sure as heck don't blame them up in the Hydro lol At BTW Manchester everyone was up dancing from their seats. It was amazing. Dan the Gaga Stan 9
Well I was there last night in the last row of the lower tier seated and I stood up for most of it. The only time I sat down was during Dope, The Edge of Glory and Born This Way. Ok so being the last seated row I didn't have the worry of people behind you. But most people in my area were standing to be honest and only sat for the slower parts aswell. I did notice that a lot of people were not putting their hands in their air though which was strange. It was my first Gaga concert so I can't really compare to be honest. I really enjoyed it but I do know what you mean I would have thought there would be more people dancing. In seats its abit more difficult but you can still dance and put your hands in the air! My area was quite energetic but looking at the section next to me didn't look as energetic. Which block were you in? I thought she was fab anyway!
That J 12,166
I've been to 4 Gaga shows and I've never seen any section sitting during her performance. The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw
LikeAnAngel 0
Well, I'm glad that the public is not just letting themselves be ordered around by Gaga... listen I love her but it's healthy for her to have to work hard to make the shows good even though shes a SUPERSTAR. Guy Above You 57
I stood up for 90% of the show, I only sat down during BTW, Dope etc. But yeah, the crowd was pretty sh!t tbh

I stood up for 90% of the show, I only sat down during BTW, Dope etc. But yeah, the crowd was pretty sh!t tbh Ditto on the 90% thing... it was nice to sit for Dope and BTW... then Judas started an d all hell broke loose... :haha:
ThatSLAYGUY 68
I guess some people like to sit and enjoy the show. But that is why I love Gaga shows, coz she TELLS you to stand up and then I don't care If I am blocking other people coz Gagz said so
NewYorkCity 10,536
That happens there. Here in Spain evryone stands up. In fact, at the BTWB speech after lovegame she said: we can officislly announce that Spain is the first show I have played where all the rich people are standing up right now! So yeah... it is because of the people. When I went to see Madonna in Barcelona I was seated with my boyfriend but when the show started we instantly got up and those behind were complaining because they couldn't see anything. Luckily there were many empty seats so we just moved somewhere else and partied by ourselves. :p It was COMPLETELY different at the Born This Way Ball, we were seated but we partied really hard through the whole thing and NO ONE was sitting around us, the whole crowd was up on their feet. When I went to see the Spice Girls in London I thought they were a pretty boring, cold audience, to be honest, I guess they just have different ways of showing appreciation for an artist. Exactly. high heeled fem 3
I understand what you're talking about...it was the same at my artRAVE. Me and three other people in my section (right at the front stage) were standing the whole time and dancing along, but all the others sat down again after the first two songs. I felt like the people behind me wanted to kill me for dancing the whole time But it was a different audience, at the BTW Ball everyone around me danced with me, mostly people my age or younger. Now there were a lot of people around 40 years old, like Gaga gained new fans, but I understand that they're not really that fit anymore often to jump and scream around like crazy. For me, somethng was missing too at the artRAVE and I think it's the songs. It was so easy to wave your hands to Paparazzi or Alejandro, but the new songs...no. I love Venus,Aura,GUY etc. but I immediately recognized that the beat of the ARTPOP songs is not good for normal dancing and waving your hands, you can only jump to it muabe this is why sunday show was the best? i heard sat and thur... she didnt go as wild and this is why maybe she was like **** it.??? i would be pissed off too..... btw u can totally dance to venus and guy ;) u can go nuts to that!!!
