Which country? Western women don't HAVE to put veil, many just do out of respect, there are many without veil working in Jeddah or Ryadh, Saudi Arabia, which is considered most strict.

In the sauna of my city you can't wear underwear, beachwear, or others kind clothes, you can only go naked with the towel specific for sauna, it's a rule, there aren't exceptions, because with hot of the sauna they could disintegrate or create a damage.

In this case I'm agree with the "pool", especially for the hygiene-safety reasons, if there is a "dress" code based on safety reasons you have to respect that, it's not like the story of the boxer vs slip. 

 

I don't wanna sound rude but these people can't expect to live in a modern occidental country (like USA) with their ancient traditions at all and demand to be accepted, especially if we talk about the burqua-veil issue, also because if a occidental woman go to their country has to put the veil and follow their rules with no objections.

Well you said "has to", and they don't. They are recommended to dress more "modestly", bit even that is different from country to country.

Yes I know about Saunas, but that's different, muslim woman could anyway go there only with her husband without clothes, not together with strangers as it's a habit in Scandinavia. People have different cultures. It would be boring if we'd all be the same.

First of all, not all the nuns belong to same genre, they have the possibility to choose if they wear the traditional clothing or not, and they choose to become nuns and dress like that, they're not forced, and yes there are people who don't like or approve them. 

Second, nuns don't go to the swimming pool dressed

They are allowed to use a normal swimsuit like all the normal women, like this one.

 

 

 

And the ones that choose to live in the reclusion way they don't go dressed to the pools and then complain that they don't let them stay totally dressed in the pool.

I perfectly know that and my point is properly this, I don't say that you have to renounce at your beliefs or traditions at all, but when you go in a another country with different tradition and culture, you have to live with their culture and tradition, if I go to Germany I can't demand that people speak italian only because I'm italian, I have to learn German if I want communicate with people in general, and the same is for other things, this is my point.

Pool management said she wasn't allowed to swim because of her clothing... Its up to her to change her clothing that meets the pool reqirements and her religious obligations.... Pictures of the burquini seem to fit both imo.

Are you saying it's allowed in Catholic religion for a nun to wear an ordinary swimsuit? Never heard of that. If they're committed to it, it's not just a part time/job only clothing.

And also your comment about not being forced, well most muslim women are not forced either. If you would know many of them personally and ask them, you wouldn't generalize like that. They have many Western converts who used to dress in western type of way but they CHOSE Islam as their religion and they CHOSE to dress in headscarf/long dress just like that nun. So they have right to wear in their "ancient tradition" way even if they are in the west. No one needs to lose their identity and follow the culture around just to be accepted.

Why choose to live in a country if you don't take part in their culture, tradition & rules/values? "When in rome". You wouldnt go to a night club and demand silence to read books.
