Computer 10,973
Madonna's biggest flop Bedtime Stories was released 20 years ago. Didn't seem to hurt her career. Where will Gaga be in 20 years? Discuss... Twenty years ago this month, Madonna released her sixth studio album, Bedtime Stories, a classic that came out at a strange crossroads in her career. While Madonna certainly didn't lack for fame in 1994, the button-pushing Erotica album had soured many critics and fans. For the first time in a decade of superstardom, people weren't shocked by her antics anymore -- even worse, they often seemed exhausted by her. Artistically speaking, she'd spent the last four years challenging and subverting America's s-xual puritanism. But after releasing an entire book called Sex featuring nude pictures of herself and other celebrities, there didn't seem to be anywhere else to go in that realm.Click the link for more...http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/6274138/madonna-bedtime-stories-20-babyface-donna-de-lory-retrospective 💚💛💕❣⭕💢💢 | ⓜⓔⓡⓡⓨ ©ⓗⓡⓘⓢⓣⓜⓐⓢ

Redstreak 6,653
One year ago next month, Lady Gaga released her fourth studio album, ARTPOP, a classic that came out at a strange crossroads in her career. While Gaga certainly didn't lack for fame in 2013, the button-pushing Born This Way album album had soured many critics and fans. For the first time in half a decade of superstardom, people weren't shocked by her antics anymore -- even worse, they often seemed exhausted by her. Artistically speaking, she'd spent the last five years challenging and subverting America's views on art and fame. But after releasing an entire album called ARTPOP featuring endless countdown apps and reverse-Warholian inspired Koons covers, there didn't seem to be anywhere else to go in that realm. Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
Computer 10,973
wasnt it erotica or something like thatYes Erotica was a similar story but Bedtime Stories is at the 20 years milestone. And also the comparisons to ARTPOP are so similar, yet in the end it is considered a classic and did not hurt her career whatsoever."For the first time in a decade of superstardom, people weren't shocked by her antics anymore -- even worse, they often seemed exhausted by her" Could be taken from any newspaper article about Gaga last year tbh. 💚💛💕❣⭕💢💢 | ⓜⓔⓡⓡⓨ ©ⓗⓡⓘⓢⓣⓜⓐⓢ

HANZ 4,380
Bedtime stories unlike ARTPOP actually saved and cleaned madonna's career and image her image was really damaged after the erotica era, but with bedtime stories she kinda got people back at her awith ray of light she was on the top of the world again meanwhile ARTPOP did the oppositive to gaga's career and image My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

Batwings 12,847
I didn't realize Bedtime Stories was considered a flop. I thought Secret and Take a Bow were pretty big hits.
