Hell, we made a jazz album with covers sell 130k+ on the first week. I feel like with ARTPOP we took it for granted and figured she'd just sell and slay and be successful miraculously because she's gaga, but we realize now that she's not invincible. But her Super Bowl campaign, Pepsi endorsements, H&M endorsements, Mrs Carter World Tour and surprise drop of a visual album catapulted her sales. We don't really know what Gaga's album will sound like. Will it have any electro/edm influences? Will it be mainly rock or disco? Will it have Jazz influences? How will the first single perform? How will the second single perform? How will the promo be? What will the critics say? How will her music videos look? How good will her performances be? Where will she perform? How will she release it? At this point I will be optimistic and say it will debut higher than ARTPOP.
