ARTPOP - 1,130,000 Born This Way - 3,355,000 The Fame Monster - 2,720,000 The Fame - 6,540,000 How I wish this would've actually happened with the new rule. But given that Billboard's only counting the TEAs for 1989 (and the rest) which occurred during the first eligible tracking period of the new BB 200 (and not the ones before), I guess that answers the question on whether they'd finally count all TEAs into the official album sales count or not. Those figures just look so good. At least Gaga has managed to score three consecutive platinum albums (and then one gold, and another potential one w/ C2C). That's great enough for her success to not be regarded as merely a fluke. Another AOTY nom, and her place in history is pretty much safe, if it's not already. Here's hoping for the best.
