The UI and the performance may have been lackluster but there was never any issues like no service after the update or erasing all your Google Drive documents. I don't know about you, but I would've never seen something like this coming from Apple.

Like these really are not that big of issues. Lol. It would be one thing if the iOS caused like the entire phone to just die, cease in function. But it's not. All these minor issues can and will be remedied. Every piece of technology has it's flaws when it's released. It'll get fixed.

And I agree with you. My droid X I had in high school was flawless to begin with, but after about eight months to a year of use, it was sucking bad. Glitching, lagging, crashing, it was just bad. It forced me to get an iPhone 4 when it came out, which I still have to this day. Lol

What phone did you have though? There are plenty of crappy cheaper ones. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and it had worked just fine for over a year now.

Please do not generalize Android as a whole because of the one phone that you had. Android is an open-sourced operating system, meaning that there are going to be thousands of handsets running it and that there are going to be really good ones as well as really crappy ones.

 

Most Android phones nowadays besides the Samsung ones run really smoothly and are extremely responsive, like Nexus 5 and the new Moto X to name a few.

^^ What I said above. Plus Droid X was an ancient phone from more than 4 years ago. I don't see iPhone 4 doing any better with iOS 7 either. And fyi this longevity issue was long solved with Android 4.3 and it's only going to get even better with the new ART runtime.

Samsung Galaxy also. And I owned another cheaper one that was fine in the beginning too and then went to sh*t lol.

Well, every Android phone I've owned and the rest of my family has owned all followed the same pattern so... yeah. My iPod Touch is 10x better than these phones for me lol.
