and if it happens like Donna Summer bashing her disco era when she was a new born Christian, and years later asking for sympathy coming back to club music

Donna Summer bashed the gays and then used them like candy to get hits and money.

Having a jazz era side project here and there is not comparable to the Donna Summer mess.

saying that electronic music is unauthentic and less human is like saying that all her career have been a thing to regret.

That's the way i see things

Gaga said she felt that people were hungry for music that was more authentic and human, meaning more use of real instruments and unprocessed vocals. She didn't in any way say that she regretted "all of her career".

It was simply a comment explaining why she thought Sam Smith was connecting with music listeners.

Committing?

And so? What's wrong with an album, using real instruments? The music can still be Pop or Pop Rock, with the use of real instruments.

For ****s sake, release your R&B album, Gaga. :usrs:

I'm all about this . Or like disco album. She needs to stop being so daft and do something that's not. Boring.

Sorry but no Gaga. Born This Way was the most important album of your career.

I just hope she doesn't follow trends like she did with ARTPOP. SHE is the trend-setter.

She didn't follow trend lol. Call me back when you'll heard songs like Aura, Venus, G.U.Y., Sexxx Dreams, JnD, Mary Jane Holland, Swine...

the only reason why she said that is because ARTPOP was a commercial fail, if it had sold more she wouldn't have said that probably

Nope, she would have said the same. She said the same thing about BTW and TFM wasn't a commercial failure, so you are wrong.

Each album project she is working on his her most important to her at the time. She's that type of artist...one that feels passionate about the project at hand.

The next album we will hear the same thing, but it won't mean that she didn't care for any of the ones before it.

Adele came out.  Lorde came out.  Sam Smith.

And Lana came out marching to her own beat, ignoring the trends this album, standing strong on what she wanted to do.  I think Ultraviolence was very forward thinking and very organic and unique, with then great sound production and guitar. It was a stunning soundscape from Lana.  Gaga had to take notice of that, that Lana did something very old school, yet avant-garde, and thought, oh, wait, my crown is slipping on being ahead of the game musically and unique.

What you said is true, although I disagree about Gaga's intent on making Cheek to Cheek. I really think she enjoyed working with Tony and wanted to stretch her jazz prowess, explore her abilities, and so what came out was a project of pure love.

PopBitch

In my last post I may have sounded angrier than I actually am. It's just that she's contradicting herself way too much to be seen as solid at this point. She seems so lost still. Like she hasn't yet figured out who she wants to be.

Also makes me think her next pop album (if she ever does that such thing) is gonna sound awful and disposable since she is so resented and ashamed by this genre and electronic and is now trashing her earlier stuff so bad. Today she praises MTN but talks bad about electronic to a magazine. She is people pleasing so hard for C2C!!!!!!! I hate saying this but she's sounding like an #Apologetic B*!

Maybe that's a good thing she's so schizo about her music and all over the place in contradictions.  The album will reflect that and will be eclectic beyond my wildest imagination in a great crazy way. .
