She's right. Even Daft Punk made an album that's WAAAAY toned down, they used real instruments for a big part of the album, and it just won album of the year. 

 

She isn't shading her past work, she's allowed to grow. What's popular today wasn't what was popular 5 years ago, and 5 years from now people will want something new again.

I honestly stopped listening to what Gaga says about her *current* music because she's always changing opinions with each record. I remember her discussions about ARTPOP, and now she's changed her opinion now. I take it all with grain and salt, because you never know next year she'll be disowning C2C (Which I honestly doubt), but If that means she's ditching EDM all together, I am SO fine with that. 

 

For ****s sake, release your R&B album, Gaga.

Everyone is always calling her a versatile innovator and mega talented musician... but then cry when she starts doing something to show it. She can't keep releasing pf, br, Judas, Venus forever.

I think it would be interesting to see her mix her skills on the piano with her jazz singing.
