Well I think this album will be a real test of Gaga's artistry, cause I think at this point most people aren't expecting anything from her that she hasn't already done. People want "another Poker Face" or "another DITD" and they're thinking of her future music in a pretty constrictive way. She tried to give them that with songs like G.U.Y. and Venus. I think this is her chance to prove that she can reinvent herself and still make incredible music, and that she can be one step ahead of her fans and the music industry, instead of being one step behind them trying to pander to their taste.

 

And that's exactly what she's doing if she's planing to do an album like Adele/Sam Smith!

i get so annoyed with her sometimes. c2c is not that good, lets be honest. and definetly not her most important record, she didnt even write a song for it.

 

i hope she goes rock tho aslong as she can deliver great melodies as usual im all here for it.

 

but i want a re-release of ARTPOP in the meantime.

 

and its funny how gaga used to set the trends now she has to follow it.. she was too late with edm.

but electronic is not out.

This! I want her to at least re release ARTPOP with songs that didn't make the cut! She can't leave electronic music with ARTPOP mess :( I just want TEA, PARTYNAUSEOUS, Onion Girl, Brooklyn Nights and Red Flame on a CD is it too much?? :(

Jazz and ballads isn't the only "real" music people enjoy... I'm not going with the trend and I'm not a fan of Sam Smith... He's someone people are SUPPOSED to like rn :roll: This rock album better not be full of Speechless and You and I's

Saying you want to progress because you think that musical needs are changing/evolving doesn't shade anything that she's done so far. 

 

Also, saying you want to record in studio with live performers doesn't mean it has to be straight ballads. Or does everyone think that Thriller was all recorded digitally?

 

 

If I wanted to be a fan of someone who stays with the status quo I'd like all the other popstars beyond an occasional radio listen. The fact that she pushes people out of what they THINK they want right now is why I fell in love with her in 09.
