C2C won't hit #1 on the Billboard 200 then. Unless it becomes a surprise hit in November/December. Anyway, if not, it'll be her 2nd album to peak at #2, just after TF. Not bad. 2-5-1-1-2, that's a decent top 5 streak for all of her major releases.

I actually think it's quite possible C2C hits #1 because of GMA tomorrow!

That's a solid promo and it could bring those extra copies enough for the #1 spot

I think we will have #1. The first prediction is mainly based on digital sales.

hum even if it doesn't end up #1 it won't take off the fact it's successful ^^ TF and TFM didn't go #1...

If the sales are stable and still high, CTC is going to end up as a very successful jazz album for sure !

Rollercoaster

GMA is looking good for helping the album do well.

America isn't the be all and end all of the world's music scene though.

They should do some UK promo before tomorrow. Our chart ends on Sunday, they've neglected us quite a bit.

YOUR MIDWEEK PEEK: Kenny Chesney still gets a very slight edge for the #1 spot on next week’s HITS Album Sales Chart, but the margin has tightened. As of this morning, the low end of Chesney’s projection overlaps with the high end of the Tony Bennett-Lady Gaga collaboration.  Both have upcoming TV appearances (Chesney on Ellen, Bennett/Gaga on GMA) so it may come down to which one has the bigger impact. Looking solid for #3 is Barbra Streisand’s duets album, Partners, which is on track for a drop of less than 50% in its second weekâ€â€a startling development given the aggressive first-week digital pricing of $7.99.

*Kenny Chesney (Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville) 120-130k
*Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga (Streamline/Columbia/Interscope) 115-125k
Barbra Streisand (Columbia) 100-110k
