Where is that HSN selling tycoon blonde headed sales woman when you need her.

OMG LMAO! That HSN lady was hilarious. Gaga needs to just hire her for her promotional team of something! She was selling the hell out of that album. She certainly has met her calling in life!

That's what they used to call Gaga too  :madge:

And she's still selling more than ultraviolence, the album of the ultimate album seller of our generation!111

Gaga is pop. If she release ACT 2 or another pop thing it will open with 300k. But 125k for a jazz album in 2014 is more than amazing

Tell that to the Lana stan, I agree with you.

Nobody ever called her the ultimate album seller of the year; you're blowing what I said out of proportion or projecting your Lana hate on me. 180k is a respectable number, but my comment wasn't limited to Lana only.

Mess. I misunderstood i thiught you were the one who critic CTC sales. :rip: anyway I love Lana but comparing a "pop-indie" album with a jazz album isn't very relevant.

Wow, that's an INCREDIBLE number! Really goes to show how the whole "Lady Gaga is over" thing is so overblown and pathetic. The fact that she is hitting 6-figure debuts with an album of Jazz covers really shows her continued power and influence in the music industry. If you don't think this is impressive, remember that we are living in a time where 50,000 can get you a #1 album in some weeks.

I do wish they had timed the release better though, this could have easily gone #1 in a week with less competition. However, I'm surprised she's even within striking distance of Kenney though. So proud of her!

Some members are really delusional comparing a jazz album released in 2014 to a traditional pop album released in 2014. Jazz can't be compared to a Lana, Rihanna, or even Gaga album.

This fanbase is so messy.
