Lady Gaga: "I crashed. I just didn’t even want to make music anymore."

That's great and so strong to finally admit it, seems like she really does feel better now and is able to deal with the things that happened. I'm happy for her that's a wonderful thing :flutter:

Her behaviour after ARTPOP's release showed that she was sad about ARTPOP's sales and that a lot of people didn't really like it....and tbh some of her comments that time made it seem like she became bitter and b---hy about it.

Now, to openly speak about that she was hurt and she "crashed", that's the best thing you can do. Feels like she finally opens up and that will help her to move forward and gain new strength

"which I did with my first album"

i love that she didn't mention the name of the album anymore, she just called it the "first album"   :toofunny:

nice avi.

ot: It's so sad to hear such sad things coming from such a wonderful beautiful person. It's even worse to think that it more about peoples' reactions to her work than the record itself- love you Gags <3

it kinda makes me hopeful though, now that she's sharing this at least it gives the impression that she's doing better these days

edit: some of these posts though  :fail:

she's talking about a lot of personal pain here and some people just acting like she's some sort of commodity

Brooke Candy

I have a good feeling that her next album is going to be her best, and it's going to slay. She's learned a lot from ARTPOP, she's gotten back in touch with her musical roots with Cheek the Cheek, and we all know this b---h won't go down without a fight.

Oh get over it, you fired the team of people that made you a hit and just spent a whole era slagging them off... Stop playing the victim :rip:

You're reprimanding her because she stands up to mistreatment and manipulation? Lol And it's her prerogative to expose what may happen after making it big in the music industry. You know absolutely nothing of what happened between Gaga and her team behind closed doors, so take it down a notch before you accuse her of overreacting and glorify her past team "because they made her a hit." Success is great, but not at the expense of putting up with people who don't follow your vision as artist.

Umm hello she just spent a whole era saying how badly people wanted her to be a hit and how she's fed up of it... Now she wants that back? She said her label didn't want her to release Born This Way due to it only appealing to a niche but they let her do it anyway and continued to support her, they just pushed her in the right direction regarding her artistic visions.

Seriously people need to stop going in for previous management and how she was apparently mistreated as it was them that got her where she is today. We and she (I hope she can see it) don't give them enough credit and only highlight possible goof ups by them with hindsight such as Judas' release etc

Of course I am happy that she seems to be happier now but she had a great team working with her that created amazing work that was appreciated by the masses, she rejected that this era and now regrets it.

People commended her work and business ethic but she's pretty much lost that now considering she said she didn't want that.

Ah, I understand.

Now that you mention the business aspect, I kind of see it. I'm still interested in seeing where she goes on from now, though- the fact that she's still got a drive for her art is enough for me.

3 points in and ready for more

That really shows how she was affected by the way ARTPOP was received. That's why I think she will do everything to win the GP back with her next album.

This....It wasn't the music so much, but the concept that really didn't make sense to people and sometimes Gaga really didn't know what it meant. :smh: However, if the proper promo and management had been their...it still could've been a decent era, but like she said...it totally crashed and burned.

high heeled fem

who cares if her first album sold the most it is no where as good compared to her other work i still enjoy eh eh but yeah... it doesn't heavy the magic creativity her other albums have she was auto tuned and well it was her enrtyway into what she had too do ...... born this way/tfm is the real magic and it changed everything :whitney:  of course so is ARTPOP look at venus .

> Also a important thing i want to point out is that people forget its very different in the pop world today so much harder than back then, gaga pretty much stated working into slavery for 6 years.... she worked so hard!

People forget madonna didn't have a insane tour till blond ambition which was her third tour! and TBA only had 57 shows and went for 4 months! :toofunny: the monster ball has 201 SHOWS!!!! and went for 2 years!!

No wonder gaga crashed, we expect so much from her, even i have myself....you know madonna  hasn't been to australia since 1993, she has never been to new zealand   either, another place gaga has always gone many times and other limited places on the BTW.

The biggest thing i'm happy about is that she's still chosen to make music after wanting to stop, imagine how we would have all felt then? think about it

 I love her so much
