Lady Gaga: "I crashed. I just didn’t even want to make music anymore."

Better she realized this later than never.

She should take it as a compliment that people hold her to such a high standard, but I understand how that can completely **** up certain things, because people will always complain about what she's doing now isn't up to par with her past works. She set the bar high for herself and this was bound to happen. It always does with new artists who reach stardom as quickly like her.

Gaga's overly-ambitious and that can be seen as a blessing and a curse, but I appreciate that she's always willing to go the extra mile with everything she does. She's never restraining herself and that's something I always liked about her. With this Jazz album, she's sort of taking a backseat and pacing herself, and I think within the next year or so, she'll possibly be back and rejuvenated cause it seems like the whole 2013 year (Born This Way Ball cancellation, hip-injury, ARTPOP album critical+commercial controversy) wasn't in her favor; but the next album may work out well which is great.

I'll be here waiting.

On a talent tip, the likes of Katy Perry and Rihanna fail to hold a light to Lady GaGa.

Alas, thanks to a number of well publicised creative missteps in 2011, the ‘Paparazzi‘ hit maker now finds herself tasked with crawling back on the pedestal the success of debut album ‘The Fame’ handed her in 2008.

Now, she finds herself in the shadows of the chart-rocking ladies above.

"Crawling"? "In the shadows"? It's like they don't know her at all. :smh:

It's not "a compliment", you delusional people.

People just wanted TO DRAG her and they did.

No one will draga Adele if (when) her next album won't sell half f what 21 sold. You seem born yesterday.

I have a good feeling that her next album is going to be her best, and it's going to slay. She's learned a lot from ARTPOP, she's gotten back in touch with her musical roots with Cheek the Cheek, and we all know this b---h won't go down without a fight.

This b---h will never give up :legend:

In my messy era.

Agreed with all of this  :applause:

Her honesty and self-awareness is nice to see here too.

Gaga, I like when you're secure enough in yourself to say that no matter how many copies you sell, it's all about the music. But when you start coming up with these statements about how you feel down because ARTPOP was not a "huge success", it makes you look like you actually care about the charts, and that's okay. You're an artist and you really do care, so please don't say you don't care because you do. I hope you feel better about this because ARTPOP is a pretty good damn album, not your best (in my opinion), but it sure is better than many popstars' discographies.

You didn't crash, people just didn't like the music, the visuals, they didn't know about you this time because there are new popstars dominating the media right now. But yes, you hyped this album to death, you hyped this like you hyped Born This Way. I wish you'd work on your albums quiet, and not reveal the name of them a year before it's even released. Let the music speak for itself. I love you Gaga, but you really need to learn not to always listen to what the fans want, and do what makes you happy. The fans will ALWAYS complain about stuff, because you can't just make one single record that'd make them all feel satisfied.

I don't care if you didn't dominate the charts this time. I actually stepped away from you when Poker Face was a hit, because you were everywhere and I didn't like it. I listen to your music because I like it, not because it's a trend.

I get that you got affected by the "Not so much success" of ARTPOP, but I just don't like it when you talk about how destroyed you feel about stuff. It's like you're always showing the public how sad you are or how much of a victim you are. That's what I don't like, but I get that you share that with the fans and the public.

I enjoy ARTPOP now, I enjoy Born This Way and The Fame Monster every day, I will enjoy Cheek To Cheek because it's new to you and to all of us, and I sure will enjoy what you work on in the future, but please don't talk about your new record and over hype it like the last ones. Just let the music speak for itself.

I don't think she's ever said she doesn't care about the charts.

I always think about charts when she says 'music not the bling'

They were also high because she kept making it out to be the most amazing record ever put out. She shouldn't have hyped it up so much.

I feel for her here :cryga: the expectations for ARTPOP were very high and they weren't met
