giskardsb 12,565
So the impossible has happened. The fantasy world by Lady Gaga turnt out to be just a period of her life. As a person I'm happy that she found some kind of peace, but as a fan of her artistry I can't lie - I'm extremely disappointed. She sais that she'would be more happy playing in a clubs than being a popstar - it concerns me how much passion she's lost. There no reason to revive something what just dead. So yes, this is shocking but I can understand her. The amount of stress she was experiencing must have been huge. Maybe she hasn't lost passion just redirected it. Being the top pop star is not the only goal she has for her life.

I'd argue that her passion for the music is stronger and more evident in Cheek to Cheek than it has been in quite a while. She seems rejuvenated and full of musical passion. Just because she's trying something else out and really expressing herself in ways that pop just doesn't allow doesn't mean that she's lost any passion. A little overdramatic, don't you think? Duella Dvil 10,517
there goes all ur gay fans gags Hey f###k#r watchit!! This Gaybie love JazzGa!!!! also This made me teary eyed and flew my head into the idea of how this is ging to impact her future albums Did you find the real you during the recording process? I did. But you know who I found? I found the Italian girl who was 18 years old and was ready for anything. I found the fighter. I found her again. In this business, you go through all these obstacles and challenges and become like a hardened shell. I had to break through all of that to be able to be authentic when I was singing. Sometimes you have to dig really deep. www.instagram.com/theduella666

There no reason to revive something what just dead. So yes, this is shocking but I can understand her. The amount of stress she was experiencing must have been huge. She said that she felt that way at her lowest point, when she was clinically depressed and completely disillusioned with the business side of music. Gaga didn't say that is her current state of mind or outlook on her future. Disappointed in what? That she had a bad patch and needed time to regain her desire to be in the highly pressurized rat race? That she decided to do a side project that she had been wanting to do for years? Nastix 66
It probably won't happen, but I wouldn't mind it. I like jazz. Hope she'll write at least few original jazz songs herself, it'd be cool.

ByeBye49 161
Why were you so down? The pop industry is like a tabloid now. There's just no integrity and it's extremely controlled and manufactured. There's a lot of farce and not a lot of authenticity. So for me, singing the Songbook was freedom. Tony doesn't think I'm crazy. He thinks I'm old school. He really understands me. He helped me make it through one of the hardest times in my life so far. There are a lot of sharks in the pop-music industry. I was kind of damaged and faced all these challenges behind the scenes with people betraying me, and things like that. I became dissatisfied with the business. I'm so much more satisfied with music now. I said to myself, "I don't need to be a commercial singer anymore. I can just sing at a bar downtown and I'd be so much happier." Note to self - Move house when I have enough money. Anyway, YES!!!!!!!!! IF THIS IS TRUE I WILL ACTUALLY DIE OF HAPPINESS. NEW MATERIAL...... EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. GAGA IS HAPPY AND DOING WHAT SHE LOVES...... WHAT MORE COULD BE ASKED.
Antidote 95
I think it could be interesting if she wrote pop songs and then turned them into a mix of pop/jazz. If she means to release albums like C2C oh well if it makes her happy and gives her energy, it's a great thing for her! But yeah tbh my inner stan who misses the TFM and BTW era and her art and music from that time is hoping for another dark pop album
Rollercoaster 2
If she starts creating her own Jazz/blues music, we could get our very own Back to Black. :D

A little overdramatic, don't you think? Turn off defend Gaga mode. What I meant was that she has not much passion anymore to things she used to love. That way her legacy is not so relatable to me anymore. I'm happy because of her new passion, but she will loose a lot because of it. Critical aclaim is cool, but GP and fans made her develop and shine.
