I hope she gets some retro drama back into her performances and style. I've been very inspired by Queen and Freddie Mercury the last couple of days and I can really see Gaga taking the same approach as them; a very personality-driven sense of drama, rather then using excessive staging and hard choreography.

Gaga has similar charisma on stage and has the musical chops to pull it off, but she washes it away with overwhelming stage productions and choreographies that are hard for her to keep up with. Not that her performances become bad, but they seem anything but effortless.

And as you can see in video's like the ones above, you don't need any of that to please a crowd as long as you have a great stage presence and great vocals. And Gaga has both of those and are as a matter of fact her biggest assets (imo), but she doesn't always find the best ways to make them shine.

Really hoping that her Oscar performance and the Cheek to Cheek era have taught her that less is oftentimes more. Many of her contemporaries can put on a big production like Gaga, but not many can put on a show like her. I hope she remembers that distinction

I just want her to do what she did with The Fame era: catchy pop songs about fame and the lifestyle that comes with it, with clever artistic subtext. Let's NOT put art to the front this time though, no need for more pretentiousness. Basically songs like Scheiße, Paparazzi, G.U.Y

Well in my book she did put art in the front during The Fame, she just didn't apply it as literally. The work isn't that different during all era's, it's mostly the attitude that changed.

That would be boring. I hope she will be new and surprising. In the end Gaga is an artist and musician and she needs and wants to grow and don't go steps back.

I hope she makes more organic songs, melodic big pop hits and also some experimental stuff.

But i personally don't want songs about fame - we had this ( btw: It was ironic and about the inner fame ) - i want Gagas dark sides and the process when it becomes blooming and wonderful again.

I'm sure she will make something completely new.

She needs to stop talking about fame lol. Like we get it...

Her next album, I want it to be about finding herself and coming into her own. I would like to hear about her battle with depression, finding love, and songs just about life. She has plenty of songs about fame + s-x. Its time for her to expand her horizons.

It's science, bitch

I just want a new concept (no fame, gay, fashion or art things)

In term of atmosphere : I like something dark like TFM with a mix of new genres she hasn't tried in the past.

In brief : catchy and fresh songs mixed with the chesmistry of Gaga / RedOne.

sadly I have to agree with you. Although I think she is already perfect therefore she does not need to change but just continue to do what she has been doing, you just know she is going to re-invent herself and do something new and different. Which sucks, but hopefully the music will be good. (I mean RedOne is there)

That's kind of a ****ty thing for you to say. "It sucks that gaga's going to reinvent herself" she reinvents herself every day. Like come on.

You can only go down when you are on the top. Which is why she does not make a record as good as TF/TFM anymore

as we can see on stache, she is into literature(jean paul sartre quote) so she can use it more of this + she looks like she could keep it basic so gp (and younger monsters etc.)  wouldn't be bothered

enough with fame, slave blonde,  especially marilyn monroe and dorothy-both musical and visual-

She is into literature. Sexxx Dreams has a reference to 1984 by Orwell, and the Monsters song from The Simpsons episode has a blatant reference to The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Me. Hyde by GLS.

It's so aggravating and interesting at the same time that we literally have no indication of what to expect. So much has changed since she released ARTPOP.

- New management: her old management obviously had a hand in approving the direction Gaga was taking, and Gaga was very reactionary to the comments of the record label (like how she wrote Dope to replace I Wanna Be With You).

- She's happy: she had been depressed and addicted to d--gs for the majority of all of her previous albums, which obviously affected her mental state and creativity.

- New learning experiences: She has opened new doors by collaborating with Tony and doing the Oscar performance, which will have shown her other ways to use her position in the industry. She has proven to herself that she's capable of switching up genres succesfully.

She can literally do anything now, whether it's changing genres, changing performance style, or staying exactly the same. It's an exciting and perhaps even intimidating time to be a Gaga fan :koons:

I hope she follows "less is more" in her songs, I'd like some simple beautiful songs like Madonna's balleds, I feel like Gaga throws everything into each song, which can be a little heavy to listen too

I need ballads

Yeah, I'm hoping Gaga will break the formula of having one ballad per album, and do at least three.
