@JustPokeHerFace a Q1 2016 release would be the same amount of time between Born This Way and ARTPOP. Not to mention the BTW era lasted longer than the ARTPOP era. Gaga's last radio hit vanished in January 2014. That would be a 24-28 month blackout from radio. Even after Marry The Night up until Applause she was only abdent from radio for roughly 18 months from radio. You really think she is gonna stay away even longer than THAT wait?

For 1, Gaga said that it wouldn't be like BTW or ARTPOP that it would be recorded on the road.

For 2, it could mean that something is coming in May, but not an album or quite possibly nothing at all

For 3, She could've been recording some songs but does not prove that she will release an album in 2015.

For 4, Gaga writes lyrics all the time although it means that she had something in the works

For 6, Gaga cares about the music first and will not rush release something to be relevant again.

For 7, Like I said she writes all the time. Maybe she is letting her creativity flow? She is also obviously working on songs too.

For 8, So far, besides C2C and The Fame the albums have been spaced out for two years. So, the earliest the album could come out would be early 2016.

For 9, Cheek to Cheek? It showed that Gaga was a great singer ( not fully though) and rush releasing things to be number one is sort of attention seeking.

For 10, They could've worked on a song but does not mean it will be released in 2015.

@BEAST hmmmmm....you say every album has been two year gaps? No. Btw came out 1.5 years after TFM which came less than a year after TF. C2C came 9 months after AP. The only two year gap is between BTW and ARTPOP. And even if it was a two year gap, that would suggest a single in August 2015 and an album this November.

Given the fact that she's currently busy promoting another project, no it would not surprise me. She'll be busy touring for the first half the year. It's possible she could release this year, I just see next year as a viable option as well.

 

Also, blackouts aren't always the end-all-be-all. The time period between Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light was four years, and Madonna came back much stronger on the latter album. If the quality of the music is good and her image and marketing are organized correctly, releasing in 2016 wouldn't affect the chart performance of the album.

2015 does sound like a likely year for a new Gaga single, but not album. She'll probably release a lead single around late 2015 and a new album in 2016.
