I think we'll get release week promo, then subtle and sporadic promo like with c2c. Then a few weeks down the line the album will get a promo nuke and rise again.

The best we can hope for is leading with the best and following with an equally brilliant track. The worst thing that can happen is another Applause where it just misses that ultra-hit quality.

no. ARTPOP had loads of promo, I seriously don't get how yall don't see that.

VMAs, AMAs, The Voice, SNL, loads of Radio appearances, on GMA twice, a Youtube Awards performance, which sent to basically every Youtube user an email telling them to watch the performance (which led Dope to the top 10 due to streaming but STILL barely sold afterwards), The X Factor UK,  500 billboards used all over the world with the cover featured on it. STOP. The problem with ARTPOP was obviously not the promo,

EDIT: The promo was great up to december, I agree afterwards it got bad. And the only wrong step in promo was not releasing the DWUW video.

I am so glad because the next album will not be called ARTPOP therefore it will have a fighting chance unlike ARTPOP which was unfairly judged by its title IMO :spin: :)

I just want awesome music. If it is a hit, great... if not, too bad for the people that are missing out.

Although I do like having a **** ton of performances.

In the end, ARTPOP essentially suffered from management issues. It's just too bad that this had to happen in the middle of an era, and not in a blackout. In my opinion, DWUW could have been one of the biggest singles of her career.

All of my friends including a large amount of straight bros loved that song. Such a missed opportunity :'(

Look at the promo for Cheek to Cheek, it had so much promo, Gaga and Tony were on every poster, billboard, newspaper, magazine, tv show, internet ad, commercial, everything you could imagine.... It was EVERYWHERE!

that's not a promo, since that photo H&M is using isn't captioned and 90+% of the people don't know who is that chick, the biggest mess of this era  :awkney:

LOL C2C is everywhere in the US, but in Spain you can barely hear people talking about it

Cause for C2C USA really is their main and most important market, cause you know, "The Great American Songbook and Tony Bennett", something that has the biggest potential in USA without singles on the radio and huge music vids. So I don't think it's that big of a deal people outside USA don't know much about the album just yet when Gaga and Tony themselves are clearly about USA at the moment, make it strong there. Now when they get a Grammy buzz I can imagine things starting to happen for C2C in other countries too : )
