I'd love to see elements of these in the album. Most would probably disagree. Realistically there will probably be more glam rock/ classic rock influences. Possible slight metal, but I don't see anything else.

I'm kind of scared of the next era. I really hope she doesn't decide to do a rock album. I'm not a fan of rock. I'm scared I'll be highly disappointed with the next album like I was with ARTPOP. I just want an amazing album like TFM and BTW. I want songs that will give me goosebumps all over my body and make me feel liberated the first time I hear them. That's something ARTPOP lacked. I didn't get goosebumps when I heard the songs for the first time, nor did I have any desire to go back and re-listen to any of the songs on the album. There was absolutely nothing memorable or catchy on it (for me at least). Here's to hoping the next album and era will be miles ahead better than ARTPOP, and can join the masterpieces we've come to love, TFM and BTW. 

 

Born This Way is hardly a masterpiece. ARTPOP has the same kind of songs anyone who enjoys her music should generally enjoy whether or not its your favorite album by her. Im so over fans over-romanticizing whatever album they vehemently attached themselves to and trashing the newest one in the process because its not as familiar (people did the same **** with Born This Way when it came out, trashed it and romanticized the album before it and moved on) but I guess some fans do that to artists that are as worshiped by fans as she is. They attach themselves so much to one or two eras that it takes them awhile to move on if they even do.

 

I think thats the negative side of her having such a devoted fanbase. People attach themselves to a certain part of her and use that as some means to discredit future ventures because they're still so attached to whatever comfortable or nostalgic feeling they get when listening to a past record. To be honest I can somewhat see what thats like considering when Born This Way came out it was almost on constant replay within my social group at the time and when ARTPOP was released I wasn't going out in the same way so it wasn't an album that I can listen to and attach to a particularly memorable feeling in my life at that moment in time.

To me BTW was a masterpiece. Whether you think so or not is your complete opinion. You claim you're sick of fans "romanticizing" the old and "trashing" ARTPOP, but I'm sick of fans who start to bash other fans when for some reason don't like certain songs, or certain albums. I don't think you're in any position to tell people they are "romanticizing" one album over another. That's all personal opinion. I don't like ARTPOP, and that's that. Never did, still don't, and most likely never will. It's really not that big of a deal. Yes, I think TFM and BTW were lightyears ahead and better than ARTPOP. You may not think so, but I couldn't care less. That's your opinion, and that's that. But please don't come onto this forum and start accusing people of "romanticizing" older albums. Nobody is obligated to like ARTPOP, Cheek to Cheek, or Gaga's next album just because it's Gaga. There's nothing wrong with admitting you don't like something your favorite artist released.

1) experimental music. i dont care what the radio wnats i just wants something new and mind blowing with great production that will show gagas powerful voice.

2) no hype and not so much promo

3) more mature stule of fashion. maybe more dresses and less bras and underwear

4) no rush in putting out cheat music videos, i wants something that is thougth thru all the way and is high quality
