I hope whenever it comes, it has the artistry we want. Azealia just put out an album where the sound was more akin to what I expected from ARTPOP.

:fail: If Gaga had put something out like that, it would have been the first album that I skipped of hers. No thank you!

First of all, it really suxxx to wait so long for her next Album. But, people should really let her be free and fly where she wants to, to experience new thing and make again an amazing album.

I know its hard to wait, but it will be - hopefully - worth it!

You are mistaken.

You don't need a lot of time to create a "masterpiece", this is music not a painting.

I said it before and I'll say it again, she made Paparazzi, Poker Face and Lovegame within the same week

She wrote TEOG in 10 minutes :ohwell:

She could have written Paparazzi, Lovegame and Poker Face within the same week, but maybe because she had years of experience of beating down the doors of East Side bars and clubs, gracing the underground scene of New York and putting on shows with Starlight.

The Edge of Glory was inspired very much by her grandfather passing away, so the 10 minutes commentary doesn't mean much in the context of the song being heavily influenced by a very special moment for her.

What I am trying to say is that experience and inspirations do count in music too, and I am sure MACBETH was referring to exactly this point.

Surely, music is different from painting, because in music the artist can implement their ideas quicker: the melody came, they rushed to the studio, recorded it and then worked it into the instrumental, while with painting you sometimes dedicate months to paint something you've had idea of. But in order to be able to write songs within 10 minutes I think people should prior have some inspiration, some time when they discover something new, restore their energy balance and that's what Gaga has been missing for quite a while. She has been touring every year since 2009 and her schedule has become kind of tight, and I'm sure it's good for her to take more time with her new solo record.

Interestingly, even if it comes out late 2015 that's still a shorter wait thn ARTPOP was

I think she will be releasing her sixth overall album in 2016. I wouldn't be surprised if it is May/June. The Cheek to Cheek tour won't be that long and we all know Gaga's writing music all the time but I hope she surprises  us all with the next album. I don't have any expectations.

I think you misunderstood. I like the ambience of the tracks and how the instrumental relates somewhat to the song.

You have to experience life to write music.

Gaga hasn't experienced life since 2009 and thus we got some great material mostly about Luc, then we got ARTPOP which wasn't about Luc. I know what material I prefer.

She would do well to watch old performances to reconnect with her previous self and how she felt.

It's almost as if ARTPOP came from lack of legitimate inspiration & forced inspiration dragged from btwb.

She needs a clean break from btw. It was the theme of the monster ball, born this way ball and born this way album, then it bled into ARTPOP long after her message had outstayed it's repetitive Welcome.

That's why I like c2c so much probably. Its not the same message (fashion, minorities, s-x) in different wrapping.

Yeah I get what you mean, she needs life experiences, you mean like:

breaking hip

long painful healing

loss of popularity and many fans

truly flopping for the first time

the amazing love/relationship she has with Taylor

betrayal of Troy

Yeah she really didn't have any interesting or possibly inspiring experiences lately.

Also, this is from the RS interview, Gaga's explanation of LoveGame:

"It's another of my very thoughtful metaphors for a cock. I was at a nightclub, and I had quite a s-xual crush on somebody, and I said to them, 'I wanna ride on your disco stick'. The next day, I was in the studio, and I wrote the song in about four minutes. When I play the song live, I have an actual stick  it looks like a giant rock-candy pleasuring tool  that lights up"

People just need to understand that Gaga does not need more time, in fact she shouldn't wait at all :ohwell:

It's hard to consider most of the experience which you've listed as something she would address in her new music. I suppose you have watched Gaga closely and that you do realize this is clearly a very dark page for her, so dark she probably doesn't even want to channel this pain and into her music. Besides, Gaga mentioned in a 2013 interview that she would never let us know of all the backstage drama, so I assume even metaphorical mentions of Troy/management conflict are unlikely to happen.

I am not trying to portray Gaga as a Mozart of her generation and to make an assumption she is totally academical when writing songs. I also know that she wrote Scheisse after a party at a s-xclub in Germany. But we all know Gaga writes, or at least tries to write concept records (google the Kierszenbaum interview, she wanted to do theme-oriented albums ever since The Fame), and concept records can't purely grow on these "club moments", they also need some time which involves research, discoveries and experience which is off the public eye. All the things you mentioned were basically the media headlines about her, while she could discover something completely new and fresh with some time given.

I do hope she writes a song about Taylor though, because one of her best songs are about love and passion
